Well, when Macs break, Apple Care people are supposed to have experience fixing them, and they're supposed to break less. I'm becoming skeptical though. I bought the Mac b/c it's run on a unix basis and at the time I was a grad student in astro (i.e., linux/unix required), and b/c of the reputation of having everything integrated smoothly. As I hit the end of my warranty though, I'm suspecting that it's a failed experiment. Unless I can get them to replace everything and extend the warrantee though. but either way, I think I better bring the desktop PC w/ me in a couple weeks.
