You know you're tired when...
...you go to pull the cover off the cage and nearly pull the cage off the table.
Peeper's cage is covered with a table cloth and a Mexican blanket to keep the light out so she can sleep. I didn't remember or didn't have the oomph to pull up on them while pulling across and the whole cage nearly came crashing down. Peeper was understandably flappy with a high crest when I did get it right.
