Kevorkian in grave health, denied pardon
Dr. Jack Kevorkian, famed as "Dr. Death" (no relation to Ender's Game) for performing assisted suicide, is in extermely poor health, but has repeatedly been denied pardon and parole despite his condition. (Pardon in such cases is the usual course of action.)
I don't get it, what do they think will happen, he'll kill himself? Well, if they think his helping others die is so horrible, wouldn't they think killing himself is a horrible fate too, and therefore why prevent it? If they want to prevent him from having better conditions, such as thinking that Kevorkian euthanizing himself would be a mercy, then why's he in jail in the first place?
