Well, livejournal is something I use and enjoy, but it's not something I structure my life around. Well, maybe the album game, but otherwise no. So I don't care about any of the changes they've made- even the 'censorship' ones that have my namesake in a huff.

But the point [livejournal.com profile] zoethe made is one that's resonant for me... I wish it were otherwise. The digg '09 F9' revolt was exciting, because they DID reach the critical mass needed to actually say something to the site's operators. But most of the time, as long as things work at a minimum level, activism isn't going to galvanize the whole population. We are the generation of "Waiting for the world to change."
