Part of why I like the internet - you don't even KNOW people's races or genders until you've known them for a while. And since I get most of my news from the internet and not TV, I don't see as many pictures of the candidates as I do read text about them.

Edit: I wouldn't say I forget ethnicity/race/color/gender entirely. But they're NOT the most important part of who someone is to me.
