Welcome to a couple Saxons (aka Alfredians, aka fellow alums from my Alma Mater) who've recently rediscovered me and vice versa. To y'all and anyone else I happen to know in person, I just wanted to point out, that I try to avoid using real names and other personally identifying info in this blog, especially my own. :-P This means that spammers won't yoink anyone's email from my blog, scammers won't yoink our SS#'s, my students won't start snooping on my personal business (hi R!), and evangelicals won't burn my house down. :) Capiche? heh, that's fine. If you tried using my real name on my own lj you'd probably get a lot of blank stares from people on my friends lists and questions of 'who are you referring to?'
