Thanks. My dermatologist got back to me quickly and OK'd the levoquin (antibiotic that typically helps things resolve quickly), and will call in another prescription for it. Really, the best solution for the pain is just getting the stupid "alien" (inflamed cyst) to go away! I haven't pushed harder for stronger painkillers because I expect I wouldn't be able to drive or work as efficiently, but I am pushing to get my dermatologist to recognize that the pain is there. It's just so frustrating and demoralizing.

The best thing of all would be to find a total cure, but there isn't yet one, and the Remicade is the closest that the medical industry has so far.
