It's only a disorder if you label it as such. I prefer to think that Gabriel picked the gender "both." ;)

Besides, why must we ascribe human ideas of gender even to birds? There are numerous cases, both documented and anectodal, of alternative sexualities in birds, including ex-gay penguin Silo dumping his former boyfriend for an underage chick while his daughter Tango and her lesbian partner watch disapprovingly. Don't you love those family values?
