I just saw that q10 posted a bunch about the Snickers ad. The fervor seems more interesting than the ad.

The Snickers ad is kinda funny until you realize that they're using gay bashing to sell candy.

I saw it after I posted this entry. I'm of mixed thoughts about it. I understand that interprettation, but I thought it was more of gay-bashing bashing. It's showing the ridiculous legnths to which people go to try to avoid looking gay, and to me it exposes that behavior to the light. But like most things in life, I expect everyone takes something different out of it.

That was also there. And I agree with both statements, strangely enough. Point is, Snickers are yummy, but why go biting on one when you don't know what's at the other end?
