Snow?

So how many of you are home b/c of a snow day? How are you spending it?

I slept in, am taking a leisurely lunch of Bagel Bites, after that I'm going snowshoeing in the park behind my house, then (after thawing out) I'll grade the stuff I should've done last night.

yay snow day! except they still havent shoveled my walkway, the lazy bastards! i washed dishes, watched a movie, searched for lost payshecks that i hope are on my desk at work, and now i am making a late lunch. i would go for a walk, but it's icing out- little pellets of ice! so i think i'll stay in. i'm supposed to go to LNT at 5, but i'm hoping the store is closed or that they won't make me drive in this!

I live in Florida....We don't get snow days, we get hurricane days... :-( And then thats normally bunkerd in a storm shelter, because... well, Florida fails...-_-

I went to work (had to interview some people). Going was nowhere as painful as coming back, however. I seriously hate the 7 train, AND the Q16 bus. I was surprised Broadway was so poorly cleaned (not at all?); it was like walking in wet sand.

Streets were plowed every couple hours here (which is better than usual), but there was enough wind that the snow would be blown right back over it.
