Next time-wasting networking service

LinkedIn. use your real name, and put in your real school/employment info, and find people you know. no photos. intended for actual business networking. look me up if you know my name. seems interesting so far.

I was invited by three clients, and since have been found by several people - it seems to be going strong....

Hm, it appears down right now... But yeah, looks interesting. I wish it had photos, I'd like to reconnect w/ people I was friendly w/ in college, but I forget names. :-P I guess their goal isn't to do friend-type things, but business, so my not remembering their names isn't a bad thing in their model... *shrug*

I have a linkedin account (not completely filled out, rarely used so far, but that's probably because the site doesn't have a ton of biology/research people yet). I don't know your name but if you want to tell me or if you want me to give you mine, my gmail is mnhult.

I joined LinkedIn a few months ago and was surprised by all the people that I knew were on it. I had a lot of old co-workers adding me, which surprised me, as they were people I didn't really like (LOL!) or who hadn't said goodbye when I left after 7 years.

yeah, I know, it's kinda wierd. Do I add the VP for enrollment services, or the Dean of Perkins Grants? I know their names, and can put faces on them, but that's about it.
