LaTeX for Mac OSX?

Anyone have a LaTeX compiler to recommend for Mac OSX?

Sorry, no. I use MiKTeX on Windows and TeTeX on Linux.

This is CTAN's list of Mac LaTeX systems: http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/systems/mac/

Yeah one of my friends also recommends Miktex for windows. I remembered that I used Tekshop for mac, but I forgot that you first have to install ghostscript or something so I'm slowly slowly working on all that...

I use TeXShop and like it quite a bit.

Second that. It's a very nice package.

unfortunately I installed it and then it appeared that some sorta backend is needed for it, so now I'm working on installing Mactex.

Yuck. I don't know anything about that... Hopefully you can get it to work.

Those were the things that made me realize I liked Linux more than Mac. To many things that are easy in Linux were much more annoying. Mac liked to appear very open and unix like but then made a lot of things harder.
