Halloween theme needed!

My Halloween party this year will be Saturday Oct 25 (Saturday before Halloween), and I need a theme to revive it - last year there was very little dressing in costume. I'm considering "Dance" and "Cosplay" as themes, b/c I want to have dance music, and b/c I want to make a Rinoa (Final Fantasy) costume, but I don't know if I like them for others' use. Got any other ideas?

We did an inappropriate Halloween one year that was a blast (one guy came in a priest's costume with kid shoes attached to the bottom...another guy wore a shirt that said "I rock out with my cock out" and had a dildo hanging out of his pants.)

I was thinking "religion" one year but decided that was too easy.

I did something similar to that once. I tell a joke involving priests and snickers bars. I'm known at a few bars (sometimes years later) as the snickers bar joke guy. So I was a priest with a giant bag of snickers bars.

I was disappointed last year with my costume. We were a convict/cop (ironically my boss was a cop and his gf was a convict too). I was sad that no one noticed the one thing that made my costume somewhat individual. I actually had a prisoner number, in the right place (had some interesting friends). And not a soul noticed it, let alone where it came from (24601).

Heh. Was your girlfriend a tenor? Sing any duets?

That one certainly would not have gone unnoticed among my friends.

It wasn't large, as a prison number isn't, though I was surprised no one noticed, as this was a party hosted by a phd chemist, a lawyer, and a grad student 9some biomedical thing). The level of conversation was certainly high intellect.
nor was Shell a tenor.
I did save her life thanklessly.
Alas there was no Bridge jumping.
