Bleh

Not only could I not breathe right most of the night due to allergies, I still can't breathe right, I feel a bit asthma-y, I'm exhausted, and I think I better take my temperature. Last night it felt entirely like allergies (complete with continual sneezing and drippy nose), but now I'm not so sure.

99ยบ is not quite a fever. I've gotten that from bad allergies before.

Feel better. You can mix zyrtec with a 1st gen antihistamine (benedryl is the best otc to mix IME), and pseudoephedrine for it's decongestant properties. If you have bad nasal symptoms ask your dr for Veramyst. It's a nasal inhaler (water based) where the steroid doesn't cross the nasal lining. I adore it. My allergist ran some of the phase 2 and 3 clinical trials for it and said they were really impressive. I was also the first patient in the US to be prescribed it after approval (I had the first appt of the day on the day it's approval went into effect. my dr gave me a months worth of samples bc the pharmacies weren't going to have it necessarily.) I adore the stuff.
And bad allergies can cause even higher fevers than 37.6. 39 -39.5 is where you should start getting concerned.
