Gratuitous poll on diaper changing

After a discussion in a thread, I want to know just how many of us there are who've never changed diapers.

[Poll #1312564]

If it is an adult's diaper, all bets are off :P

Oh MAN! I had to change an adult diaper once and i wanted to die. I told my coworker i would never do it again. He laughed. I was dead serious. lol.

Only two people selected the clicky option. Clearly your poll is in error.

Hadn't changed a single one until Anna.

You get over it if you have to. It's really not a big deal. Yeah, it can be gross, and I'll admit I'm a fan of passing it off onto Will when he's home (ha), but it's not so horrible.

I should have taken you up on your offer to learn diaper skills when we were in MA! Ha! ;)

What if it's a bird diaper? :-D Somehow I view budgie poo as less icky :-D

never changed a diaper, but when my little sister was newly potty-trained i occasionally had to help her wipe. vaguely similar.

i do have two little sisters, so i have seen diapers being changed. i don't think it's so terrible. i certainly wouldn't refuse to do it or anything like that. i mean, i'd much rather deal with someone else's poo than, say, someone else's menstrual blood.

which is odd, come to think of it. i'm fine with other people's blood, and i'm fine with vaginas [some people's more than others'], but the two together are way more icky.

I still think the same thing, when I stop to think about it. When yous a goyl, you get desensitized eventually, I think.

No red wings, then, I take it?

no. apologies to any future girlfriends i may have. not gonna do that.

It's my understanding that menstrual blood is less likely to contain large amounts of bacteria, or of toxic chemicals, than either urine or feces, but I think I agree with you anyway. Just because something's logical doesn't mean it's what we prefer.

Ew. If you had had a boy though, I'm sure you would've done it. And washed your face a lot more frequently.

My stepdaughter came into my life long after the diaper stage.
