Weather - good and bad news

Good news:
I don't have to drive to campus today, get snowed in, and then take days to get back home or else stay at a colleague's house.

Bad news:
My last final's on Tuesday Dec 23, grades are due Christmas Day, and I'm just waiting for the requests for make-ups in January to start pouring in.

Is your school nuts?! Can't they wait a couple extra days to get grades? That's just cruel. Yeah, the weather is really crazy in Ithaca. But that means sledding!

Well, the policy is "48 hours after the last exam". Since I expect campus is closed on the 25th, most likely they'll be due the 26th, but I don't know for sure. Besides, I plan to turn them in ASAP after the exam on Tues so I can go home to NYC on the 24th.

Snow finally started here, and it's coming down fast.
