More Arizona fun

And more K-12 too. An elementary school mural w/ faces of black and latino kids who attend the school, is going to have the children repainted as white "to avoid controversy".

Way to teach the controversy, conservative dudes.

is it bad that it seems to me that the only people who aren't offended by these laws are white people who haven't ever been on the wrong side of racial profiling?

(This isn't saying OSEG ALL WHITE PEOPLE LOVE THIS LAW, just that there don't seem to be terribly many minorities in support of it for some reason)

FWIW I haven't ever had whites be biased against me for being part Asian. Not all whites who've never been profiled against feel that these are good laws or practices, just enough of them.

And that's why "teach the controversy" always really means "do it my way or I'll hold my breath until I turn blue".

Ugh! This is the sort of thing I always expect to happen in Alberta.
