I'm surprised there aren't more ungraceful bird photos out there! Wildlife always has to look majestic.

The person who passed this on to me and myself were speculating if this bird was deliberately bathing (my opinion) or had fallen on his ass (her opinion).

so, i did a google image search for pictures of flamingos bathing, and then filtered out all the women's swimwear, and what was left (the pictures of actual flamingos) didn't look much like that. this is not very conclusive, but it makes me inclined to favor the 'fell on its ass' interpretation.

poor thing. i hope it's alright.
