Good news
Peeper is improving! She's apparently gained a gram (which I guess is a lot), and she's got more energy - the vet said she's starting to be feisty when they handle her. :) He also said that the prognosis is "guarded," but he said it was good news that she's improving. He suggests (and I totally agree) keep flushing her system another day and keep feeding her and keep giving her medicine, and I can (hopefully!!!!) bring her home tomorrow. They'll show me things like how to give her fluids and medicines (I'm guessing by syringe, which I've done before). I guess she's got gout with the high uric acid, but she's doing better.
I think I'm gonna go cry again. :)

My Dad, who can find the dark cloud to every silver lining, pointed out that her end is probably still near and that she may do this again, multiple times more, sucking more money out of me... But I'm glad to have just a little more time with her.

My Dad means well, he's trying to prepare me for the inevitable. He just has no sense of tact whatsoever. It's like having Woody Allen for a father (Dad's Jewish too).

To fully understand this icon, you have to have seen the Badger Flash ;) (there's also other versions, a Harry Potter version and some others).
Well, it's inevitable for all of us but we don't have to spell it out ^.^;;;
