Good news

Peeper is improving! She's apparently gained a gram (which I guess is a lot), and she's got more energy - the vet said she's starting to be feisty when they handle her. :) He also said that the prognosis is "guarded," but he said it was good news that she's improving. He suggests (and I totally agree) keep flushing her system another day and keep feeding her and keep giving her medicine, and I can (hopefully!!!!) bring her home tomorrow. They'll show me things like how to give her fluids and medicines (I'm guessing by syringe, which I've done before). I guess she's got gout with the high uric acid, but she's doing better.

I think I'm gonna go cry again. :)

My Dad means well, he's trying to prepare me for the inevitable. He just has no sense of tact whatsoever. It's like having Woody Allen for a father (Dad's Jewish too).

To fully understand this icon, you have to have seen the Badger Flash ;) (there's also other versions, a Harry Potter version and some others).

Yes, I have seen the badgerbadgerbadgerbadgerMUSHROOMMUSHROOM flash, and of course made the connection, hence saying it was ridiculous rather than simply bizarre. Who hasn't seen that flash? :)
