is that for real? i thought penguins were endangered...and it's illegal to trade in illegal species, isn't it?

I thought so too at first BUT, not all penguins are endangered, and some endangered birds are legally commercially available within the US if bred w/in the states.

HOWEVER, note that the link is from the "wayback machine" - the current page isn't up. Also take a careful look at some of the FAQs, you'll find other hints in there along with the plethora of legit info. I'm really tempted to write a letter to the ordering address though and see what I get back.
