Child's Play

In 2003, Tycho and Gabe, creators of Penny-Arcade, decided they were tired of the bad rap that gamers got. The formed a charity group called Child's Play to accept donations of money and toys for children's hospitals, for the holidays. This year their charity drive started last Monday, November 7th. They have already collected $64,000. Their first year they collected more than $123,000, and we have yet to see how much will be donated in total this year. If you're not already tapped out from this year's hurricanes and earthquake, this one's both a good cause and good publicity.
