Generic Tylenol recalled due to metal particles

If you have bought any generic-version Tylenol (acetaminophen in the US, paracetamol elsewhere), some of these are being recalled due to metal particles in the pills. Check the store brand, expiration date, and batch/lot number (printed near the date on the label). There's a list of store brands that were possibly affected (including CVS and Wal-Mart), a list of batch/lot numbers and expiration dates (all seem to start with a 5 or a 6, and expire between 2006 and 2009), the FDA notice, and the company Perrigo's own notice.

Budget-o-matic!

While talking w/ Foxtrot about his current jobless predicament, I stumbled across a budget creation tool from Providian bank. It's really quick and simple to do a rough estimate, though you can be more detailed if you wish to actually dig out receipts and see what you get/spend more precisely.

As expected, with the full huge car payments that I want to be making, I'm dipping into savings. However, I'm dipping in at the same rate as I'm spending on random frivlous purchases, so if I can reduce those I'll break even. Yay. Or can pay more for the car payments and pay it off sooner. I *hate* being in debt. I don't know how I'm ever going to handle buying a house. Debt for 30 years.

[HS] Sleep

Maybe I'll be lucky and sleep through the night tonight. Since the start of this cyst I haven't slept through the night, I keep waking up in pain by 3am, and then it takes me up to an hour to go back to sleep. I've also been waking really dyhydrated, which's unusual. It's started getting better - there's two ways this can happen, the neat preferred way where it shrinks, and the messy way where it drains. But it's still hurting and swollen and red, it's just not quite as bad as before. Like a small marble instead of a big one. Or a deflated balloon instead of a superbounce ball.

Well, took my Aleve, took my levoquin, let's see if I can sleep.
