Recipe: Crockpot Chikan!

Should the Apocalypse come tomorrow and I am not transported bodily into Heaven (as I am sure I would not be), I now have around 5 quarts of chicken soup with rice in my fridge and freezer. I figure that'll last me up to a month, presuming that it's still warm enough in the world to melt them.

Calling reptile owners...

If anyone in the greater Boston area has bearded dragons, frogs, toads, or goldfish, amavia aka rubicat needs your help! She's a freelance pet photographer, and does a GREAT job - she did the professional-looking photos of Gabe here.

She's currently working on the photos for a book on the listed animals and so needs models. If you have one or some of the above, let her know here. The process is a relaxing hour hanging out at her studio/house with your pet PLUS a free CD with around 30 (if I'm remembering correctly) beautiful high resolution images of your pet. A session like this would normally cost up to $300, but in return for helping her get the photos and allowing her to use them, you'd get them free.
