Tax Day Show in NYC
Apr. 14th, 2009 09:52 amIf you live in NYC, a friend of mine named Steven Zelin, The Singing CPA is holding a "tax party" outside the main branch of the post office (8th Ave and W 33rd St) tomorrow, Tax Day, 10 pm - 12 midnight. He will be performing live folksy guitar and vocals, all songs about tax! This is Steven's fifth annual Happy Tax Day Show, and he gets permits and has sound equipment, and everything.
Steven's musical style blends the storytelling skills of Bob Dylan and the parody of Wierd Al Yankovick with the catchy melodies of Johnny Cash. He's been featured on the Wall Street Journal and you can listen to samples of his original songs at CD Baby.
So tomorrow, April 15, Tax Day, 10pm-12midnight while you're waiting in line to mail your taxes from the latest open post office at 8th and 33rd.
