I'm not sure in the end what was freaking Gabe out. She had one episode around 3:30 am, and another at 5:30, and the second time she just wouldn't stop looking at the bottom of her cage. I've heard that it's often caused by bugs, so at 5:30 in the freakin' AM I cleaned out her cage. I covered her again, and she spazzed out again, so I left her uncovered and the light on for a half hour before she decided to calm down. My one suspicion is that it might be the sound of hail occasionally hitting the window, but I'm not sure.
