asterrocToday in physics to introduce the concept of Work (and the future concept of Torque), I told jokes about the cross product. Maybe six students got the first one - vector products are Ch 12 in their Calc 2 text, and they're only on Ch 8. But by the end I successfully had most of the class groaning.
