Yep, my two hated the Roomba at first too. They would scream and flap frantically around their cage.
They've gotten fairly used to it, since we run it every day, so if they're in their cage they'll just eye it suspiciously, as if it were a potential predator. If they're out of their cage, they'll tolerate it running around until it gets near their cage, then fly into another room. If I carry it by their cage it's extra-terrifying, and they'll do their alarm screams and get as far away from it as they can.
