my toes hurt. i have lots of photos. we're in totality now, and i may or may not go back out again later. probably not since as my extremities regain feeling they're hurting a little... waiting for hot chocolate to warm up now. saturn's to the left of the moon if you're looking at it yourself, like two fingers to the left, a bit yellowish.

thanks for the reminder. it's too bright here to see saturn.

We watched it from inside. I can still see it as I sit here and surf. It's dark enough for me to see Saturn, too. The kids thought it was neat, except the littlest one was worried that the moon wouldn't come back after it went dark. I assured him it would :) They're in bed now but it great that they got to see it. This is my first total that I was able to actually see, as well.

I wish I could have seen more of it, but I was in class. Did get to catch the tail end of it about half an hour ago though :-) I guess I'll have to wait until the next one in 2010.

I loved the way the eclipsed moon was flanked by Saturn and that other bright star... Regulus, they said, maybe? Sooo beautiful. We pulled out a pair of binoculars and watched Saturn's rings for a while.
