I'm glad it's not as bad as it could ahve been. Muscle tears are still pretty bad though, even little ones. 40 isnt a bad copay on an ambulance ride. I would guess that for cab sharing purposes, walkers count as people if they cant be stowed in the trunk. From what my dad told me about being on crutches when he lived in the city, I feel bad for your dad needing a walker there though.
