Meh, what I do never came up. They were too busy discussing Dad's knees and the other guy's back (he served in the Reserves in Iraq). Unlike most New Yorkers I don't enjoy spending entire ftf discussions on people's respective healths. It could be argued that the lack of that trait means I am no longer a New Yorker. I don't really mind.
