asterrocI don't have a lot to say about it, but I really enjoyed the Star Trek movie. I thought it paid homage to the original characters with cute cheesy references to their original character traits (and flaws - Kirk's misogyny is played up as an individual character trait rather than a series-wide phenomenon). I also really liked how they portrayed Spock's struggle between his two cultures. Definitely something I can identify with.
