Dream: Vacation Earthquake

asterrocI don't really remember how it started, something about a turtle and biting fish in a terrarium that ran out of water. Maybe those were in our hotel and I was trying to take care of them. The hotel was in Thailand or somewhere similar. As we all were unpacking we felt an earth tremor - it was an aftershock of an earlier earthquite. A while later, we had another earthquake and the whole building got knocked off its foundations, fell on its side, and started rolling downhill on its wheels.
We were a little panicked and decided that at a certain point we'd jump ship. I punched out one of the windows, which was hard to do because it was plexiglass. I yelled to the others that I was jumping, and I did, and hit the ground running, and JY jumped after me. Soon most of the rest of us were gathered around a table where we started piling our remaining items. There were something like twenty of us, and although everyone was a friend of a friend, I didn't know us all. I tried to organize us, but some people wandered off to get other things from the crashed hotel, where it had stopped near the river. Others were climbing back uphill to find a new hotel.
I had one or two book bags, and one hand-carrying small duffel, so I tried to rearrange things so that I could carry it all in the backpacks. By the time I'd figured that out, T$, Dan, and the others finding a new hotel had gotten so far ahead that I couldn't see them. SW/JNB (same person in the dream) said maybe we should just wait and guard the other people's stuff. People kept coming back and forth from the ruined hotel.
Somewhen around then I finally struggled into consciousness after having stayed up until 2am the night before playing Puerto Rico.
