I filled the blue-green mini-van and started closing the doors - the right side I accidentally closed the wrong door first (like in a Honda Element) so I had to reclose them. The gas pedal had a loop over it so my foot wouldn't slide off. I was driving on the sidewalk when I realized that there was something wrong with the gas, and I detoured to the street. I was looking for the turn for the building's parking lot when I saw some CTY people having dinner at a restaurant, so I joined them. The group included tacotortoise and tikva (who isn't a CTYer, as far as I know). We were discussing the song we were going to sing for graduation, and they were emphasizing some goofy traditions I didn't understand. I realized I had forgotten my camera, and left to get it. It involved a lot of flying, but I was flying slow. Part of the sidewalk was covered in potted cactus, and I was worried I'd lose my lift so I detoured through a store selling handmade shirts and necklaces. The woman running it thought I was following the woman leaving. More cacti out back so I had to detour back to the main sidewalk.

There were snippets of The Carnival before I got in the van, but I can't recall them. The store and behind it was kinda like The Bazaar.

tikva is linked to a bizarre number of people I know. She's going out with one of my friends... you know her... I know a third party knows her, but can't remember who.

Oh huh, so your friends with one of her partners? I presume not tacotortoise :-P , but I forget if I've met the others. I know her through tacotortoise, who lives in Continuum with tiurin (who I know thru CTY), and was it jadasc that was one of them? Too many of them, I forget.

Yeah, at Arisia last year, I was there with Judy to meet rosefox for lunch, and ran into you, and tacotortoise and tikva - the former of whom was also running the Mystery Hunt team I was actually in town for.

Hey, have you talked with Steph about driving to the wedding? She said last week that she'd emailed you and you hadn't replied. I could always take her if needed, but since y'all're in the same place... Judy's looking into hotels; if you think you'd be interested in sharing a room with us three let me know, or her if you have her contact info.

Um, maybe? Not by LJ name, but if s/he lives w/ them, I've probably met him/her once. But I probably wouldn't remember their real name anyway. :-P I'm under the impression that Continuum is a supergeekydorkfest, and that to live there you're required to know what various acronyms such as LJ, RPG, LARP, WoW, and TNG stand for, so... Um, what was my point?
