1. I understand. I was better off than most of my high school classmates as well, though nowadays a lot of my friends come from familes much better off than mine. For example, at a wedding this weekend, I got to see my friend's parents' new summer home. They had the fire department burn down their two cottages and build a 3-story, 10-BR, 4-bath mansion in its place. For their summer home. I just kept going in circles in my head saying "I'm never going to own a house like this." It stung b/c I'm actually starting to think about buying a house now, and it's sad to know that the only type actually comfortably within my price range are Ranches, and I'd as soon live in a trailer as a Ranch. 3. I just got some bleach and orange yesterday. I'm still pondering whether to go with streaks or the whole thing. 4. I suspect education makes a bigger difference (and perhaps class). 5. See, I don't know RHPS, so I still haven't put a face on you yet. :-P You aren't the awesome girl who dressed femme on Second Saturday, are you? B/c she rocks. :) 7. Hee, that's a cute story! I like it. :) If you get married and have kids you should tell them. (And hopefully you realize that I mean that as "gay marriage and child-rearing is awesome!" - not "you should become ex-gay and become a breeder!") In grad school I saw a sticker on a classmate's cabinet that read "Straight But Not Narrow" and realized that described me, and I've been doing my little part to push equal rights for all since.
