2. make some baklava
3. dark blue
4. I like that you've gone back to school after a hiatus, and are more successful at it than most are.
5. when I made a crack about praying and you said you could NEVER picture me doing it. (I'll admit I did Monday, when I thought Peeper was going to die.)
6. badger
7. why *did* you have a hiatus in your education? (I don't think you've already told me, but if you have I want to substitute with the quesiton: "why in the world do you have that migraine-producing icon?!" :-P )

Date: 2006-06-15 02:31 am (UTC)2. haha, my ninja lab skills also extend to the kitchen (although it turns out that using an HF/Methylmercury/Potassium Cyanide rub wasn't the best way to make almond chicken). I have indeed made a passible baklava, although I dislike working with fine pastry wafer stuff.
3. For once it's not an earth tone.
4. I like that too.
5. Loved ones in critical condition has that effect on people. Very glad to hear that the FSM touched Peeper with His Noodly Appendage.
6. Badger Badger Badger
7. The easy answer: made a terrible choice about where to attend college, largely influenced by family pressures. Then had no idea what to do as my next move. Screwed around, made a mess of life, got sick of it and decided to try to remedy things. The other question's answer is simple, I've done alot of acid and therefore trippy things like that amuse me.

Date: 2006-06-15 02:47 am (UTC)2. I'm good at cooking when I can be troubled to do it; I'm fine at baking; I suck at chemistry. It took me a whole hour to mix solutions at pHs of 4, 4.5, and 5.0 from distilled water and vinegar. And then I overwatered the plants with them (as per my groupmates' instructions!) so I probably drowned the radish seeds. I am *not* enjoying a lot of this online class.
5. I'm planning on writing a nice letter to the vet and co. Hopefully Peeper's recovery will last long enough for me to do so...

7. I'm always impressed by returning students. They always know better what they want out of life, and it's always clear what they've had to go up against to get where they are now - I had it easy. Go you!
