Pretty slim pickings, but at least the NYTimes and ABC are picking it up from the AP. It's all over the UK papers, though; much as the Brits disdain the French, they pay very close attention to what's happening on the other side of the Channel.
Actually, I was surprised to see that it's currently the main article on the FoxNews webpage, especially considering some of the otherthings that Fox has aired.
For a country that claims to be the most egalitarian in the world, they sure have issues. :( France thinks they can just pass a law preventing any public display that could possibly be religious, and they think everything's all fixed. They forget to take into account that numerous religions require continual physical manifestations of the religion. At least some 49% of our population in coastal states admits that we still don't have it right!
