We were at the pub we (in reality) went to last night. T$ had gotten a beer sampler (!) which was a glass separated into four quarters. One was golden, one was brown, one was red, and one was black. The gold and red ones tasted more like cider or honey than beer. I didn't try the black one.

it would be hard to drink from that glass--you'd have to sip from each section in order, because if you tried to drink just one all at once, the others would pour out on your face which would be messy.

Yes, I do recall that being an issue, b/c they weren't filled evenly and I wanted to try one of the less filled ones. Thanks for reminding me.
