The main characters are a Utah Mormon man and his two wives, and how he's trying to straddle the line between his religion's fanatics and the sellout mainstream Latter Day Saints. Says CNN,
After a string of period pieces ("Carnivalé," "Rome," "Deadwood") that drew niche audiences, the show aims to return to contemporary drama, as with "The Sopranos."
