More reason to be happy

asterrocGabe's starting to bond with me! I asked the ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
cockatiels and parrot_lovers communities for ideas on getting to know Gabe, and one (seemingly strange) suggestion was to sleep within sight of him. This wasn't the *reason* I decided to take a nap this evening (it was b/c I was stupid and stayied up to 2am to no purpose last night), but since I was napping anyway, that was in my mind.
I started off facing him, curled into a ball b/c I was cold. (I've got the heater on in the bedroom, but you know me and heat...) A while later I rolled to the other side, and heard him plaintively chirruping a question. When I rolled back to face him, he stopped. He chirruped again when I rolled back away, and I realized he wanted to see me! It was cute. He doesn't complain when I leave the room strangely, but as long's I'm in it he wants to see my face. *Gwaah!* ^_^
