The reason for making the "tap test" this afternoon rather than immediately after this morning's fillings was that they wanted time for the novacaine to wear off. Well, I had lunch and time rolled around for me to leave the house and I realized that I still wasn't feeling the cup against my lips. I called them back and explained the situation to the receptionist. After she spoke with the dentist, she said I should reschedule to 9:30am tomorrow, and that's fine with me. *grumble* I really do prefer to have a little time to mentally prepare myself, so I like that, but I don't like this hanging over me.

To Do:
Grab crap off the laptop so I can send it out.
Write syllabi.
Maybe have dinner tomorrow w/ K and A.
Sleep.
Finish FF12

Great, all my nightmares are coming true - at the Hunt I dreamed that another team had won and were trying to sabotage our team by using our printers too much. (Sabotage part not true, the others were.) I have nightmares a few time a year about my teeth falling out. Before every semester I have a nightmare that I don't have syllabi ready on the first day of class.

And now I realized that I'd sold an item I wanted (1,000 Needles) in FF12. Well, didn't dream about that but it's a bother. I'm trying to decide whether I want to go back and replay things, but I'm 15 hours in and I think that was around hour 5. :( If I didn't have/need to give the game back at the end of the week I'd probably go for it; as is I'm leaning towards not.

Several characters in it have recurring nightmares about everyone's teeth falling out.

And then they all start losing their teeth.

when you dream about your teeth falling out, does it hurt? once i dreamed...i don't remember how i got like that, but my front teeth had been knocked out and my nose was broken and there was blood all over my face--rather nasty--and it hurt like hell. and i was really relieved to realize i still had my teeth when i woke up.

I don't think it usually hurts, just a bit of discomfort. It honestly feels like when I lost my baby teeth. When awake I have no clue how that felt, but I dream it perfectly. One of my friends tells me dreams of losing teeth typically is interpretted as a sign of insecurity. And yes, it's always a relief to have them when I wake.
