Remember those "child inside" stickers for the fire department? The ASPCA is mailing free "pet inside" stickers.

My dad would never let us use them as a kid - he said it would just give people the information they needed to steal our pets.

Perhaps, but who would really do that? I think the chance of a fire is much more plausible than a theif who can corall cats and dogs and whatever. Maybe they could get a bird, but a cockatiel isn't worth that much.
