It was $2.714 before they rounded. I actually know more digits of e than π; it's got a more easily remembered pattern in the early digits.

FYI, I've put "visit Nerd Camp for Intercourse" on my calendar. Foxtrot had gotten me started thinking about it, but your email had me pencil it in. It's not quite in ink yet, but probably will happen. I'm thinking of coming for Last Dance (and dancing all by my lonesome far away from the kiddies so I don't get arrested) and Crabfest and all, and maybe even stay for 2nd orientiation if that's the one where it sounds like tiurin and tacotortoise are going to be making asses of themselves.
