I had to call the gas company today, to tell them that they'd have to contact my landlord if they wanted to put in a new meter. After a reasonalby terminable set of menus, I was told that I'd have to wait to speak with an agent, and the wait would be five to seven minutes. My call was very important to them and would be answered in the order it was received. However, they had this really awesome virtual queue with no elevator music thing - I left my name and number and they called me back when I got to the top of the line! Then I waited some fifteen seconds as they patched me through to an agent, and it was all done in under another minute. It was awesome. :) Yay NStar!
