LaTeX tabular?

If my TeXShop says "Environment tabular undefined" after I try to create a table via \begin{tabular}, what do I do?

Man, it's been a while. It might've just been easier to type all the formulae in Word...

η: seekingferret pointed out I typoed "tabular" with an extra L. Duh.

there should be more details after {tabular} on the same line, no?

also, does it require some sort of include line at the top of the file?

worth seeing if lout [lout.sourceforge.net] works better for you than latex does. (i've made the switch myself - for what i do, it's easier and cleaner than latex)
