Test your vocabulary and feed the hungry simultaneously!

Just for you, [livejournal.com profile] jethereal, though I'm sure [livejournal.com profile] framefolly won't turn down a time-waster. ;) Yoinked from [livejournal.com profile] the_xtina here.

ETA: After donating some 200+ grains of rice, I'm hovering at level 39-40. Not quite as awesome as you, [livejournal.com profile] the_xtina, but pretty damned good for a scientist. And I'm sure I'll get there if I don't get bored first. :-P Meanwhile, I'm tempted to calculate these grains of rice in a more meaningful unit, such as volume or mass...

ETAA: 700+, and I'm bouncing from 39 to 43. :-P

For 100 words (after the first 3, where it doesn't have a level yet), my average is 41.12.

AND NOW BACK TO WORK.  Sheesh.

Is there a way to see that average? I've gotten as high as 46, but I'm not consistent.

Yeeeah, it's called Excel and being glad that parts of my work involve me waiting around while things finish.  *cough*

After 1010 (decimal base, thankyewverymuch) grains, I think I've found my level: while I've been as high as 50 (woohoo!) I'm generally around 46-47, with occasional forays back up to 48/49 and down to 44.

Arguably I read too much.

Anyway, thanks (if that is the word) for the link; I'll have to infect my friends, now. :)

Blame [livejournal.com profile] the_xtina too, who even tracked her progress in Excel....

EVOL! For a good cause, though...

Sheesh. Did you have to tempt me NOW? (must blame others for own badness, because otherwise I...just...can't...take...teh...GUILT!!!)

Back to work. Uh. Nope. To cooking dinner.

Heh. Yeah, I spent all day procrastinating, continually reminding me that ANY progress was better than no progress. And I actually did manage to get the minimum done in the end, though less than I'd hoped.

I can get to, but not stay at 50. I bounce around between 48-49.
