Snow redux
Dec. 14th, 2007 05:33 pm* I went snowshoeing today, and brought my camera. They're in the process of being posted to my flickr account. Lots of fun. I saw two other people admiring the same view of one of my photos, one with a camera.
* Due to the traffic snarls, some Boston students didn't get home until 11:30pm!
* State secretary of transportation is under the misguided opinion that they did a good job of clearing highways and preventing traffic snarls over the rest of the state.
* We're expecting another huge snowstorm this weekend.
* As mentioned in the last two links above, some Darwin award candidate took it into his head last night at 1am that it was a good idea to drive his snowmobile eastbound in the center westbound lane of I-84. The "car carrier" tractor trailer driver who disabused him of that notion, as well as of his life, also sustained minor injuries in the collision. I feel bad for the trucker. Those things are really difficult to handle, and with the snowmobile oncoming there's no way the truck driver could've had enough reaction time to get out of the way.
