As if my tree allergies weren't bad enough already, they're saying that they'll be worse tomorrow due to today's wind w/o rain. AND THEN grass is starting soon, to which I'm also deathly allergic.

I swear, if I ever get a house, the first thing I'm doing is covering the lawn over with rocks, and then I'm chopping down and burning the stumps of any surrounding pine, linden, or mimosa trees, and lilac bushes.

good thing you're not visiting, as i have a lilac.
you'll probably need a very large tract of land, unfortunately.. while i can't tell one tree from another, i don't think that there are any of the trees to which i'm violently allergic on my block, and certainly not any on my land.
plus i've been told that even moving to a new area won't help, because supposedly i'll just discover new and exciting allergies there. plus the idiot yankees that moved to the tropics or the desert got homesick and tried to plant their native foliage in the local environment, fucking it up for the rest of us.

Noooooo not the lilacs! That's the best part of spring in New England, at least for me. Of course, plant sex has no adverse effect on me.

Have you ever tried raw local honey? It's pretty good, and since it's so dry here allergies are usually much less severe, but it has helped my older sister who has severe asthma that is set off by allergies and refuses anything that involves needles including allergy shots, even though we had a mulberry tree right next door growing up.

FWIW? I see that, but I'm not sure I know what it means. Is it "For What It's Worth"?
