Only going to get worse

As if my tree allergies weren't bad enough already, they're saying that they'll be worse tomorrow due to today's wind w/o rain. AND THEN grass is starting soon, to which I'm also deathly allergic.

I swear, if I ever get a house, the first thing I'm doing is covering the lawn over with rocks, and then I'm chopping down and burning the stumps of any surrounding pine, linden, or mimosa trees, and lilac bushes.

Noooooo not the lilacs! That's the best part of spring in New England, at least for me. Of course, plant sex has no adverse effect on me.

They are beautiful and smell that way too. They just make my lungs come up out of my nose, make me wish I could pluck my eyes out, and even the roof of my mouth itches. The worst is when the allergies also trigger my asthma, so as I'm sneezing out Lake Eerie and not able to take a deep breath without sneezing, I also feel like I've got a really tight girdle on, without any of the potential pluses of such a bondage.
