Anyone have a link to a tutorial on how to do automation (possibly called "batch" or "action") in either GIMP or Photoshop Elements? I have a layer (a signature) in Image A that I want to paste into 200 other images, resize, move into the corner, and save.

And while I'm asking, that layer is currently white and I want to change it to black. Man, there's so many things I've forgotten.

I'm sure this doesn't help at all but I would do it on the command line with:

for image in *.png;
do composite -gravity southeast -reize 50% /path/to/sig.png $image /withsigs/$image;
done;

This is not tested, but it will loop over all png's in the current folder, resize sig by 50%, put it in the lower right corner and save the new images into the withsigs folder with the same name. I don't know if Macs come with image magick, and I have NO idea how hard it is to install so this is probably worthless for you.

Heh. Further complicating the issue, I've realized that some photos need a signature in white and others in black, so I'm just doing it all by hand. I really need to weed out some of the photos anyway, so this'll help make sure I do so.
